Hon. Benito and DCE Takes Community Engagement to Atwima Akropong

“ATWIMA NWABIAGYA NORTH CONSTITUENCY”

Hon. Benito Owusu Bio, MP, together with the DCE, Hon. Rebecca Yeboah and the constituency executives led by Chairman Abdul Salam Issah today continued with the community-based initiative dubbed “Ma )man Mpuntuo Ne )man Mma Yie Y) Ho Nhia Wo” with the people of Akropong.


Clean-up exercise was done within the community and its environs. This was followed with an engagement with the people to listen to their concerns to be addressed as such. 


Before today's activity, on Friday, 26 August 2022 the Member of Parliament together with the constituency executives had installed streetlights at all the vintage points within Akropong as requested by the people. The tools and equipment used for the cleanup exercise were given to the community to help in keeping the community clean.  


Hon. Benito Owusu, MP seized on to assure Nananom and the constituents that the road leading from Bokankye to Akropong will be tarred within the next few months considering the steadily progress of work by the New Contractor, Lomenf Construction. 


The Chairman for the Constituency, Abdul Salam Issah took to the floor and asserted his satisfaction with the massive turnout irrespective of the rain. He acknowledged how humbled he was to see Nananom gracing the occasion and getting involved with the activities. 


Nana Sarfo Kantanka, Akroponghene expressed on behalf of the people their profound gratitude to the MP, Chairman and DCE for such a gesture and initiative as it will bridge the gap between the people and the leaders and further spur them to do more for Akropong. 


Other constituency executives that were present are the Organizer, James Nketia, the Treasurer, Pius, the Nasara Coordinator, Ali Ibrahim, the Youth Organizer, Oman, the Secretary Ralph, the 1st Vice Chairman, Kwabena Marfo and other constituency faithful. This initiative is expected to continue in all the communities within the constituency.
