President Akufo-Addo Reinstate Suspended Sekondi-Takoradi Mayor Today

  President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reinstated the suspended mayor of the Sekondi-Takoradi, Abdul Mumin Issah after altercation with a police officer that led to his suspension.  the suspended mayor has been informed about his reinstatement and an official press statement would be released today August 30 for him to resume work as STMA boss. The president through the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development in a press statement issued on Friday February 4, 2022 suspended Mr. Abdul Mumin Issah from office as the Mayor of STMA following an inquiry into his alleged encounter with the police officer on February 3, at a Police check point in Kwesimintsim. Mr. Mumin was arrested on Thursday February 3 and charged on three counts of assault of a public officer, offensive conduct conducive to breaches of the peace, and disturbing the peace in a public place contrary to sections 205, 207, and 298, respectively, of the Criminal and Other Offences Act ...

I used to work at a production company as the manager although the firm isn’t mine but due to some issues that I could not handle, I was sacked. Sack MMDCE's in areas still witnessing illegal mining - Anti Galamsey Advocate begs Akufo Addo.

The founder of Advocates for Anti Galamsey and Environmental Degradation is appealing to His Excellency the President of the  Republic of Ghana ,Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo not to hesitate to sack Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives ( MMDCE'S) whose jurisdictions illegal mining  ( Galamsey) activities are alarming.  According to Mr Isaac Kobena Ochem, majority of the illegal miners are working for the MMDCE's and some npp party executives who also own these illegal miners which is making it very difficult for the military task force team to clamp down on them.    The life of the  founder of Advocates for Anti Galamsey and Environmental Degradation Mr. Isaac Kobena Ochem is in danger as some MCE and DCE's boys have openly vowed to kill him after appealing to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo not to hesitate to sack Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCE) whose jurisdictions illegal mining ( Galamsey) activities are alarming. Akufo-Addo removes Col. Damoah from Customs

  President Akufo Addo has relieved the Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Col. Kwadwo Damoah (Rtd) of his position. This follows the expiration of his contract of service as Commissioner (Customs Division) of the Ghana Revenue Authority on 13. October 2021. A letter dated 26th August 2022 signed by Nana Asante Bediatuo, Secretary to the President said “the President of the Republic has directed that effective Friday, 26. August, 2022, you hand over your duties and office to the acting Deputy Commissioner (Preventive Service), Mr. Seidu Iddrisu Iddisah, who will act as the Commissioner (Customs Division) pending the President’s substantive appointment.
