C/R: Man, 60, fined ₵12,000 for impregnating his 3 daughters at Assin Andoe

 



A 60-year-old man has been fined a sum of ₵12,000 by the traditional authorities of Assin Andoe in the Assin South District for having sexual intercourse with his 3 biological daughters and impregnating them.


He’s also to provide items including 3 sheep, crates of assorted drinks, and bottles of exotic schnapps to pacify the gods of the land.


Kwame Atta, popularly known as Showboy, who admitted to having impregnated his own daughters pleaded guilty to the incest offense and was charged accordingly.


The 3 daughters whose names are withheld are in their twenties.


The abominable act of the father was exposed after a strange disease hit the family for many months with no cure, compelling them to confess their condemnable act.

Crocodiles stranded in Sissala - Severe drought hits water habitat

  Crocodiles are totems for some groups of people in Northern Ghana, particularly in the Sissala enclave of the Upper West Region. The people revere the crocodiles and, therefore, protect them from any harm. Aside the belief system, these reptiles have also put the area on the world tourism map. In fact, the Sissala enclave's contribution to tourism through these reptiles is legendary. Side Chick Stabbed Cheating Husband

  The Police at Adenta in the Greater Accra Region are holding a young Ghanaian lady known on Instagram as Safina Diamond for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend. According to reports, Safina Diamond stabbed her boyfriend who just came back from Canada weeks ago multiple times in the neck and stomach leading to his death. It’s unclear what led to the incident as the Police have not officially stated reason for the action. the Report said the lady took the action allegedly in self-defence as she is currently being held by the Adenta Court. Unconfirmed reports indicated that the deceased is a married man, who left his wife to meet the suspect, who also has a boyfriend. Further reports indicated that the two persons, Safina, and her boyfriend have been remanded into police custody and the case adjourned to August, 12th, 2022.
